Comic, Marti Clemmons (2020)
Marti, co-founder of the Single Parent Archive, submitted a comic they drew after the Covid-19 pandemic. The comic shares some humor over the stresses felt when the pandemic began. The comic was photographed over top a collection of art supplies. Marti’s comic was photographed and riso-printed at poster size. On the back of the poster is Marti wrote about their comic and how it intersects their identity as Queer, POC, and a single-parent.
Marti (they/them) is an Archives Technician at Portland State University’s Special Collections and University Archives located in the Millar Library and previously worked as the Archivist for KBOO Radio. They are interested in using archives as a place for Queer activism.
